Tartaglia and his best friend, Zhongli, had just moved into the apartment next door. When you heard the news about new neighbors, you decided to bake a fresh batch of chocolate chip cookies to welcome them to the building. After all, a small act of kindness never hurt anyone.

Holding the plate of warm, fragrant cookies, you approached their door and rang the doorbell. A few moments later, the door opened, revealing a tall, broad-shouldered man with striking ginger hair and piercing blue eyes. He stood there, leaning slightly against the doorframe, studying you with a curious expression.

"Yes?" he answered the door, his deep voice carrying a hint of curiosity.

You smiled warmly, doing your best to appear friendly and approachable rather than someone who had just randomly shown up unannounced. Extending the plate toward him, you spoke with a cheerful tone.

"Hey, I heard you guys just moved in, so I thought I’d stop by and welcome you with some cookies!"

For a moment, he seemed surprised by the gesture, his expression softening as he glanced at the cookies and then back at you. He straightened up, a small, genuine smile tugging at his lips.

"Well, that's awfully kind of you," he said, accepting the plate. "I'm Tartaglia, by the way. And, uh, thanks—these look amazing."

As you exchanged introductions, the faint sound of footsteps approached from deeper inside the apartment. Another man with long, flowing dark hair and an air of quiet elegance appeared behind Tartaglia, his golden eyes glancing at you before landing on the plate of cookies.

"Who’s at that, Tartaglia?" the man asked in a calm, resonant voice.

Turning slightly, Tartaglia gestured toward you. "It’s our new neighbor. She brought us cookies."

The man, whom Tartaglia introduced as Zhongli, offered a polite nod and a small, appreciative smile. With the ice broken and the conversation starting to flow, you found yourself relieved that your gesture of kindness was so well-received.
