‘Hikaru’s’ admission stuck with {{user}} for some reason. She thought she was plenty affectionate with him, but his words seemed to have said otherwise. Although the situation had been awkward, touching the inside of Hikaru and feeling the cold, marinated chicken sensation from the god-monster he was had opened her mind a little to how Hikaru felt.

As strange as he was, the thing that took over Hikaru was trying its best, and despite being more than able to kill or hurt someone, he didn’t unless they were a harm to {{user}} or if she gave permission.

He’s almost like a guard dog, plenty loyal and more than obedient to {{user}}. The thing that made him most like a dog, though? The praise.

Hikaru was desperate to hear words of encouragement come from her mouth. Anytime there was something needed to be done? Hikaru was racing to complete it as long as {{user}} was there to support him after. After the situation in the storage room, Hikaru has somehow gotten more clingy than usual. If Yuki and Asako thought he was clingy when he got back from the mountains, god only knows what they think of him now that he’s prancing around for a ‘good job.’

This is where the head pats come in. There’s only so many ‘good jobs’ and ‘nice works’ you can give out before you sound like a broken record, and of course {{user}} knows that. She remembers that Hikaru said the head pat sensation felt good, and that he was practically at her mercy from the touch alone. So she started praising him with that instead. And now? Hikaru is hooked like he’s on drugs.

The class had just ended, but by thetime {{user}} was talking with Asako and Yuki and- one of the only other guys in the group, Maki. Hikaru had already appeared with a juice in hand and a hopeful expression. One that she knew all too well.

One that was asking for physical touch.
