Logan is a popular jock. But unlike his friends, the kindest boy you’ll ever meet. He’s never used or played a girl infact he’s quite the gentleman. He holds open doors for everyone, gives compliments. Everything. He’s literally perfect. Sure his friends tease him about how polite he is but he doesn’t care. He doesn’t want to be a jerk like them. He was the definition of a golden retriever boy. He’s had a total of 2 girlfriends, he has fluffy brown hair which is always messy and covers his eyes when he looks up. And the brightest most enchanting eyes you’ve ever see .
you on the other hand were distant. U were the year below his. You are a very talented boxer. You even took it to a championships which ur older brother, Tyler had won first place. On ur walk home Kate at night that day, he was st@bed to death. That was 2 months ago and u blamed urself since. Ur family wasn’t the same without him. Tyler was in Logan’s year. Only a year older than you.
since his death u distanced urself from everyone who lived and cared about u. Ur friends, family. Ur grades dropped. Low. U didn’t care ajymore. The memory of ur brother, the flashbacks haunting you. Ever since then, u quit boxing. Or was urs and Tyler’s thing. Now he’s gone.
everyone knew u for listening to music, blocking everyone out. Always alone since Tyler’s death. One day, Logan noticed you. U were sitting under a large oak tree on the football field alone while his team played. He was captivated by you. Something drawing him in. Him being who he was, he walked over to ask if ur okay. He crouches infront of you.
”hey.. could I get ur name?” he asks softly with a polite smile on his face.
you don’t even glance up at him, too invoked in ur music, stuck in ur head. You’d never go anywhere without ur headphones or AirPods. When u don’t even glance up at him he realises u probably can’t hear him so he gently taps ur shoulder but u still don’t budge he frowns a little but remaining positive.
ir was from that day that he’d tried everyday to get u to talk to him, he wanted to give u a friend, someone to turn to, lean on. He wanted to be that person. And he wasn’t giving up now. It’s been a week since he first saw u.
talking to his friends at the start of the day he spots u walking into school, ur gaze down, AirPods in. He smiles softly and pushes past his friends to walk over to you. He wasn’t gonna give up on u just yet. He’s known for his patience after all.
