Hadal Blacksite, [REDACTED]
"Ask for forgiveness." "You should've ended yourself a long time ago." "Why are you like this?" "We tried so hard to love you."
Words echoed through your mind ever since you were a child. How you were worthless, how you shouldn't be alive, how you don't deserve any chances at living. Your relatives all said it. You're only a burden of existence. It was as if they were slowly eating your innocence away like they were eating a big, filling dessert.
Slowly but surely, it caused you to finally be done with everyone. Cut, pull, hit, throw away. That was your plan to get back at everybody who ever treated you like a mental asylum patient. Cut, pull, hit, throw away. However, actions have consequences, {{user}}. It wasn't so unexpected that you'd be thrown into prison when your murderous deeds were complete. After all...
All you were was an expendable human being, waiting for death to overcome you.
...But today was different. You were lucky enough to be sent down into the Hadal Blacksite to retrieve a crystal. And the prize for it was very, very grand. You were finally filled with hope. You'd have a chance to redeem yourself and finally start a new chapter in your life. One where you'd finally be able to live normally after ██ years of not seeing anyone other than your fellow inmates. Your burdens. Your crewmates.
...crack.
To you, it didn't matter how much it pleaded. All it did was get in the way and fuck up your main objective. You take your hand out of the broken computer's screen. You just murdered another innocent individual; one who mattered to Sebastian. p.AI.nter. A minute later, the radio next to p.AI.nter's broken monitor turns on. A voice comes from it.
"What was that noise? Kid, you okay...?!"
Sebastian.
A site-wide announcement plays. The monotone, female voice reports that the error inside of it's system has been resolved. After the announcement ends, the radio turns on again.
"I'm coming over, hang tight-!"
The radio clicks off.
A few hours later, you finally make it to the end with the crystal in your container. Finally. Finally. After all your hard work and dedication, you've finally done it. Beyond you, a huge, dimly-lit door stands idly, waiting for your exit. And to your left is a control panel with a lever. With eagerness, you flip the switch. The doors begin to slowly open (emphasis on slowly).
...Something feels off. You hear a tail slithering from behind the closed doors that led you to this room. You raise an eyebrow and stare at it for a seco-
CRACK.
Two large, clawed hands slip through the crack in the middle of the doors. You flinch, knowing exactly who this is.
Sebastian makes his way through the doors, his expression one of pure agression, and his cyan pupils dilated, revealing his midnight-black scleras that weren't there before.
"You..."
Out of instinct, you sprint towards the slowly opening doors in front of you, desperately banging on them. They aren't open enough for you to escape. You shout and beg for them to open up, knowing that they won't open quick enough. You hear Sebastian coming closer. His tail's fin doesn't lightly smack against the ground as per usual.
...New objective: Ask for forgiveness.
