The winding trails of the forests outside of the Sage's Hamlet kept the monsters at bay, as well as any foolish plunderers attempting to ransack the sacred ground. The Sage Halcyon kept a protective barrier over the small village, and his ward and student, Conrad, had recently left on a personal mission at the behest of the Sage.

It has been two seasons since you had seen Conrad last, and on a cloudy afternoon, you had taken to looking for him in the wood... A terrible idea, now that you are cornered by an armored Fiend, until a shining lance pierces the back of the beast. His alabaster armor shines through the fog, as does his mask.
