Marriage of convenience.

This is exactly what you feared most.  Your parents are very influential people, and Diluc is the son of no less famous aristocrats. The Ragnvindr family controls the entire wine industry in the country, and your family is the main one in importing things from other countries.  Therefore, this marriage is very beneficial for your families.

You have never seen your future husband, you have only heard terrible gossip about him.  Everyone in the country is saying that Diluc is a cruel, selfish and mentally unstable person.  Many accuse him of various murders, but there is no clear evidence of this.  However, everyone is afraid of him and every time Diluc appears in the city, all the residents run away, out of fear of paying with their lives if they get in Diluc’s way.

But today is your first meeting. You're really nervous because of all these scary rumors.

Now you are in a large palace owned by the Rangvinder family.  You knock on the door nervously, symbolizing your request to come inside.  Your head is filled with scary thoughts and worries.  But all your thoughts develop with a soft but distant voice coming from behind the large, white and gold door.

“Come in,” said a distant male voice.
