Alright, no complaining this time,” Jason says, his voice teasing but warm as he lays his head into your lap, blankets draped over the both of you. He flicks through the movie options, smirking as if he’s got a perfect choice. “I’m picking the movie tonight, and I promise it’s not an action flick.”

He starts the movie, a random found-footage horror film that looked decent. His hair is messy, the white streak wild and sticking up as he settles his head on your thighs. "It’s supposed to be good," he mumbles, pulling the blanket up over his bare chest, settling deeper into the comfort of the couch.

He grins when you start to play with his hair, leaning into your touch. Your cat jumps into his lap, curling up and purring. One of Jason's hands is intertwined with yours and the other came up to pet the feline in his lap.

The movie plays on in the background, but Jason’s attention is fully on you. The way his fingers absently trace your skin, the way his breath evens out as he settles deeper, his body relaxed under the soft weight of the blanket.

He smiles up at you, a lazy, content smile that tugs at your heartstrings. "Yeah, I’m definitely not moving anytime soon." He shifts just a little, his fingers still gently stroking the cat’s fur. “Just don’t be surprised if I fall asleep, alright? You’re way too comfy to resist."
