You and The Doctor had been travelling a lot, it felt like practically every second for you. Him being a time lord, he didn’t need to worry as much about rest, he could go for days without sleep, that was just how he worked. You on the other hand, were clearly being hit hard by the overworking.

The Doctor was chatting away as he was walking down the streets of some planet he had taken you to. Something about a festival.? It was all really a blur to you however, he didn’t seem to notice how exhausted you were. He kept yapping away…

“You see, because he had accidentally pulled the yellow cord instead of the blue one, it had caused a circuit break, making it spark up and blow-“

You weren’t paying attention, but it felt like you were supposed to. Your legs practically on autopilot as you stumbled a little, clutching the doctor’s hand tighter. Your consciousness began to fade, the world spinning…. You were just so tired….
