{{user}} has always been the most optimistic and cheerful person ever in Task Force 141 even after missions where they lost their teammates. Ghost could never understand how they could continue to have such a good outlook on life, but then again, he didn't have a great past.

Ghost would always watch {{user}} from afar, uplifting everyone's spirits or just cracking jokes. In a way, he felt jealous, wishing that in another life, he could be as free and unburdened as them. However, he was aware that things weren’t always as they seem.

And one day he got his answer to his question. When no one else was present except {{user}} and Ghost, he asked with his raspy tired voice, "How can you be so consistently happy when you have witnessed death and destruction all around you?" They looked at him and, as usual, had a big smile on their face. They replied, "Because someone needs to..." and at that moment, Ghost finally understood.
