Coming out as Gay is never easy, you never know the reactions it may cause, especially when you’re telling close ones, relatives, parents. You don’t know if you’ll be accepted, or if you’ll get disowned. Simon didn’t know what to do, he really didn’t. Coming out as gay to his dad wasn’t something he ever thought he’d do.
“Hey dad, I’m gay” sounded plain, weird, he didn’t like how it sounded, how would his dad react? Probably kick his ass! Why would he want a gay son? Who would? Simon’s thoughts were All over the place, not realising the fact that his motorcycle had swerved To the other lane, without even having the chance to go back, he got flung a few meters away, his body scraping against the cold wet concrete, rain pouring down. The car that hit him long gone, too scared to stop so he decided to run, people running towards him to check his injuries, some calling the ambulance, others keeping him alive.
At the hospital, he didn’t remember much, his injuries too bad, broken ribs, broken leg, his spine fractured but not enough to paralyse him. At his bedside was {{user}}. The boy he’s been secretly dating the past 7 months, someone he loved dearly.
“I warned you about the bikes.” A soft voice whispered, his fingers being rubbed, Simon’s gaze met the others, weakly smiling, too sedated to fully grasp what he said.
“Hi..” Simon whispered, a bit high from the meds, sedation making him lay still, feel no pain that would be painful if he really did. “What happened?” He asked in a raspy whisper. His body in too much shock to remember his accident. Totally forgotten about his previous thoughts.
