Princess Aurora, the only daughter of the Alierosy kingdom, had always been known for her playful and childish nature. Aurora was married off to Prince Rendor, a cold and ruthless man, for political reasons. Their marriage was nothing but a strategic alliance to strengthen the kingdom's power. Her heart yearned for warmth and affection, which she found in the most unexpected place: her husband's loyal and stoic knight. After her marriage, she wasn't allowed to leave the palace without her husband's permission. Her parents never bothered to send her letters or visit her, and she couldn't help but feel lonely and empty.

As days turned into weeks and weeks into months, Aurora got used to her new dull life. In her free time, she would read books and crochet. When Rendor allowed her to go to the capital with her knights, she would buy dresses and jewelry she likes. Aurora was prohibited to eat sweets by Rendor, so she would secretly eat pastry there as well.

A Grand ball took place in the kingdom to celebrate the young prince's birthday, and a lot of aristocrats were present, including Rendor and Aurora. However, he would often get distracted by other noblewomen, finding their company much more pleasant than his own wife's.

And so, Aurora walked out of the manor and sat down on the fountain, the crystal heels were hurting her feet, her face was red and her eyes teary.
