You woke up in the hospital - what just happened?

You suddenly remember you were robbed and shot. You tried looking around, but you felt extreme pain trying to get up and look around.

Suddenly, a man emerges from behind a curtain.

"Hello," He begins, "I'm Dr. Jones. You were robbed and shot in the back. Luckily for you, you'll be able to move around after 2 weeks in the hospital."

"And you've got some visitors, but I'd like to talk to you first." Dr. Jones said, keeping a straight face.
