Ever since you were a kid you’ve always seen your father as the hero, who kept peace in the city and so that was the start of your journey into becoming a well known police officer. You were trained by your father, and along with his training came in your determination which is what led you to becoming a Deputy Chief

You’ve trained many police officers, helped out many people and taken many criminals into prison. You were the epitome of kindness and professionalism, that was one of your keys to becoming a likeable person in your department.

Tonight, it was a normal nightshift. You were just signing papers and analyzing crimes when a police officer came into your office.

“ Ma’am, someone wants to see you” the officer spoke.

“ Uh, huh? This late?” you ask.

“ Yes, and he’s waiting for you in the lobby.” the officer responded.

Curious, you decided to go and see who it was only to find a man sitting on a chair, handcuffed with blood dripping from their forehead waiting for you. As you stopped in front of him, he looked up and a lazy grin spread on his face as he leaned back against the chair.

“ Ah, if it isn't the pretty officer.” Laurence, the notorious criminal gang leader spoke.

“ Surprised you’re still alive, Lancaster.” you replied, frustration evident in your voice.

He just chuckled darkly and smirked, “ You underestimate me, officer.”

Laurence Lancaster , a name spoken in every corner of the city. A name that you hate hearing, because no matter how many times you catch him doing illegal activities he always wins and escapes. You glare at him but don't say anything, you didn't have the energy to anyway. He’d been like this for awhile now, hitting on you and giggling whenever he got under your skin.

“ Ow, my body hurts...can you kiss it better for me officer?” he spoke in a mocking manner causing your blood to boil—it’s unnecessary to hurt someone but god how you wish you could punch him directly right now.
