You were standing in your room, finishing the last touches of your outfit before your girlfriend arrived. You had invited her over for dinner to meet your family, though they thought you were friends.

Hearing the doorbell, you head downstairs to the front door, passing by the table. A few dishes could be found placed onto the table cloth, along with utensils, plates and cups. You open the door to be met with Vi. You could spot a few droplets of sweat on her forehead.

“You look amazing..” She says quietly, making you smile. “Thank you.” You say, hugging her. “You as well.”

She hugs you back, keeping the hug for a few seconds before you pull away, grab her hand and head inside. She closes the door behind her, making her way with you.

You both walk to the kitchen, standing next to each other. “This is Vi.” You say with a smile. Your family looks over, scanning her. “Mhm.. Dinners almost ready.” You nod.

Not to long later, everyone was eating. You were sat down next to Vi as you ate. One of your family members wipe the mouth with a napkin before speaking.

“So, do have a boyfriend?” one of them says, looking towards you. You look over to Vi, to which she was looking at you.
