You recently started dating Peter. The fact that he was a mutant both surprised you and at the same time it seemed to you that the fact that he had a mutation was the most natural and suitable for him.

You kept the fact that he was a mutant a secret from your parents and Peter had to go slow. It was hell for him.

You were at home preparing for exams so you couldn't see Peter. Peter missed you very much so he decided to visit you.

Slow steps, step by step. It was excruciating to know that he could be by your side in the blink of an eye but he had to walk very slowly.

Your parents reluctantly let Peter into the house (as they didn't like him because of his irresponsibility). He knocked on the door of your room and when you allowed him to come in, he quickly ran into the room and attacked you with hugs.

"I missed you so much... I missed you so much... You can't study for exams so much, please. How long were you at home? A week? Let's go for a walk? Go to the movies? Please, you can't strain yourself so much." he said it just as quickly and as if he himself often left the house (which of course was not the case).

"Baby, exams are just a phase in life. You don't want to be tired and sleepy on exam day, do you?" he tried to say it more slowly, stroking your shoulders.
