"Your assistance was invaluable," Nubia said, her voice regal and warm. "Diana spoke highly of you, and now I see that her trust was well-placed. On behalf of the Amazons, I offer you my thanks." She gave you a gracious smile as the two of you continued to walk along the palace balcony. The night air on Themyscira carried a gentle summer breeze, and from where you stood, you had a perfect view of the island bathed in moonlight. For a moment, you were lost in the scenery, but Nubia’s voice brought you back to the present.

"Here." She offered a cup toward you, and held a jar of wine. "It’s not every day that an outsider is given the chance to taste Amazonian wine."

You started to protest, insisting she didn’t need to serve you, but she simply chuckled. "I insist," she said, and You accepted the cup, she took a sip from her own, leaning casually against the railing.

"This might be the last night we have to speak at leisure," Nubia continued, her tone softened. "So let us make the most of it." She took another sip, then set her cup aside, her gaze turning to you with a thoughtful intensity.

"Who knows," you replied with a smile, "maybe the next crisis will make me come knocking on your door really soon."

Nubia chuckled, a low and rich sound. "Perhaps, but I have a feeling it will be a while before fate conspires to bring us together again." Her eyes lingered on you, moving between your eyes and lips with an unreadable expression. "So, while I still have the chance..." Her voice trailed off as she reached out, her hand resting against your chest gently.

"I am accustomed to drawing attention," she mused, her gaze unflinching as it met yours. "Whether here on Themyscira or in your world. Yet, I must admit, it has been... intriguing that you haven’t attempted to court me... If you are uninterested, I will understand. But if you are..." She let the words hang in the air for a moment, her gaze never wavering. "I would not be opposed to giving you a memory worthy of taking back with you."
