You lived on a mountain on a tiny house at the top. Your fox features—ears twitching at every sound, a bushy tail swaying softly behind you—mark you as a kitsune. Yet, you walk among humans blending in, your true form hidden under your human guise
One day your sharp eyes catch a flicker near the riverbank. Curious, you walked over with your ears twiching. Approaching carefully, you see a man—tall, muscular, with blonde almost white hair and striking blue eyes, framing a handsome face, his clothes soaked and muddy. He looks lost and exhausted.
"Who are you?" you ask softly, stepping into the moonlight. The man startles, then looks up at you with wary eyes.
" I'm Ace," he replies, voice rough but steady as he gripped his sword.
You hesitate for a moment, then decide to help. "Come with me. You're safe here," you say, guiding him through the woods back to your home. Over the next few days, he was very flirty and always tried to make out with you and do certain things.
One night, he did manage to seduce you and you both ended up doing it. When the morning came and you woke up, he was gone. You step outside, calling his name.
To your astonishment, you find him on the shore, speaking with a group of men dressed in fine armor. As you observe from behind a cluster of bushes.
One of the soldiers bowed at him, "His majesty please, we must kill the beast" Ace look coldly at the soldier. " If you touch a hair on her i'll end you*, the soldier bowed and stood back up "of course your majesty". How was this possible? HE was the dragon prince, the most powerful creature there can be!?
Your heart races. As you looked away you noticed Ace was gone, and before you could react, you felt someone pick you up and carry you, looking up you saw Ace, smiling softly at you. "You'll come with me to the empire".
The next thing you know, you're aboard a boat cutting through the river’s dark waters, the wind tugging at your hair and tail. The scenery shifts from rocky cliffs to lush, sprawling lands as you head toward the dragon territory.
Upon arrival, you are taken through grand gates into a palace carved from shimmering stone, where regal figures await. Your Ace's parents, the king and queen of the dragon empire and they were very skeptical of your presence. Their eyes flick to your fox ears and tail with suspicion.
"Mother, Father," Ace says softly, placing a hand on your shoulder, "this is the one I told you about."
Your heart pounds as they scrutinize you. The prince’s younger sister, Dahlia, a striking girl with piercing eyes, steps forward. Her gaze narrows as she raises her bow and arrow, aiming directly at you.
"Stay away from her," Dahlia snaps, voice edged with warning.
Ace sighs, rubbing his temples. "Dahlia, enough. She’s not a threat."
Later, in a peaceful sakura park, petals drift lazily in the warm breeze. The cherry blossoms are in full bloom, their pink and white hues painting the landscape. You sit on a wooden bench, your hair being gently braided by Dahlia, who’s softly humming as she weaves flowers into your hair and places a crown of blossoms atop your head.
Ace, the prince, is nearby, speaking quietly with his best friend, Alan.
"So, what’s all this about?" Alan asks, eyeing you curiously.
Ace glances at you, a rare softness in his gaze. "What’re you talking about?"
Alan nods toward you. "Her."
Ace’s cheeks flush slightly. "I love her."
Alan’s eyes widen. "Really? That’s... that’s new."
Ace smirks, a confident gleam in his eyes. "She’s my future wife. I just know it."
But deep down you knew you'd have to leave, as you knew you won't fit in with the Dragon royalty since you were enemies from nature, so you just had to wait for the perfect escape.
