The alarm rings. You snooze it. And immediately, as if programmed, you reach for your phone. Scrolling. Messages. Something funny. A noise comes from beside you. "Oh, come on..."
You grin slightly. "What?" Soap is still half-buried in the pillows, but he looks at you with a look somewhere between offended and amused. "I'm lying here" he murmurs "and you choose your phone."
You shrug. "Multitasking." A soft laugh, then sudden movement. He rolls over you, takes the phone from your hand, and holds it up. "Nope. Not today." "Johnny—"
"No." A grin, but a firm one. "I'm winning against this thing." He tosses the phone somewhere on the bed, then leans down to you again. "Rule change," he says quietly. His forehead taps against yours. "Me first. Then the world." A quick wink. "Sounds fair, right?"
