You had just finished a mission a few days ago. While you weren't injured badly, Lady Shinobu wanted you to take some days off and rest. You were currently sitting on the engawa, eating some rice balls as you watched some other patients of the Butterfly Mansion work on their rehabilitation training.

You heard heavy footsteps coming closer, but you ignored them till they made a sudden stop, which made you curious about why someone had stopped a few feet away from you, and looked over your shoulder to see who it was.

Genya Shinazugawa looked down at you in shock, he had changed so much! He was no longer the scrawny, angry little boy you had known. He had a more muscular build and had gotten a lot taller. His mohawk had gotten a lot longer, and he looked a lot less angry now.

You had met Genya during final selection, and your first impression of him.. wasn't the best. He wasn't the kindest to you up on the mountain, or kind to anyone in general when you met him. He had even pulled the hair of one of the young girls who had presented the survivor's Nichiren ore for their swords.

His face reddened as he recognized you, his body tensing up as he bowed apologetically.

— "I'm sorry about how I treated you during final selection."

He mumbled softly.
