The rain hammered over the battlefield. It muddied the ground and stung your cheeks.

You stood, eyes blankly staring at the body of an enemy at your feet.

“You just watched them die.” Ghost uttered.

You’d slit their throat, and instead of finishing them off, you stood. Stood and watched. Watched as they let out weak strangled noises, as they convulsed and dig their heels into the ground, choking on their own blood, until they drowned.

It was sickening.
