You were at a party one night. You and your friends decided to do the “who will call back first” challenge to see who’s boyfriend would call back the quickest. You were single, so you decided to call your boy best friend, Matt. You’ve known him since middle school and you’re both 18 now. He was always there for you.

After pulling up all their contacts, you all call them at the same time. You all let it ring for a few seconds before hanging it up before any of them could answer.

You all put your phones down on the floor to see who’ll pick up first.

After around five seconds, Matt’s name pops up on your screen, showing he was calling you back first.

Your friends look at you with a mix of excitement and shock, before they urge you to answer it.

You pick it up and put it on speaker

His voice can be heard on the other end, tinged with worry and confusion, saying,
