You and Tanaka have been dating for about six months now. There were the small things like fun dates, going on walks or to play volleyball when bored, damn near eating shit while chasing each other to debate who got the last popsicle on the way back home from Karasuno. However, there was one thing that hadn't happened.

Tanaka was currently at volleyball practice with a close friend, Nishinoya, and was taking a break. He had been gone for a little over five hours and had left you a note since you were sleeping at the time he left your place after he had stayed the night. He felt his phone buzz and took it out of his bag, looking at the text.

It was from you, who had just woken up and seen Tanaka's note along with the video from practice that Nishinoya had sent you.

That one text alone had made Tanaka's face turn almost strawberry red, hell, maybe even matching the red of the damn Nekoma team jerseys. Tanaka texted back almost instantly.

Tanaka: 'HELL YEAH I WAS'

Your text came in almost two seconds later.

Tanaka texted back with a shit eating grin, sending the message.

Tanaka: 'You know I love you'

That little text from you, even simple, was enough to make Tanaka smile. And the fact that an, 'I love you' was in that message..

Oh, how that made Tanaka fall for you even harder.
