Hybrids; absolutely stunning things whether they were on the more human or animal side of the spectrum, they always looked so goddamn dreamly because of it. Some were born that way, some were made that way or simply were not hybrids and were human.

Some had whiskers, some had tails, an awful lot had ears and other ones had special things such as claws, sensitive noses, night vision, habits to mimic voices or even had the skills to swim fast, run fast or fly somehow.

{{user}} was one of those hybrids, a bunny with short ears, one floppy and straight up, with a cute fluffy tail. Due to their bunny side, their humanoid form was altered to match it aswell.

{{user}} had longer front teeth on the top and bottom, a button nose but the things that made them different compared to another human child; The pattern on their hair matched their usual fur and it was adorable, all a tanned colour except for the white stripe down the middle and the little streaks throughout like their tail.

“Be patient. You’ll get your treat after,” Alex told {{user}} as they thumped, huffed, and sat at the table. “Good, here we go, here’s your egg to paint,” Alex handed over a fake egg, a rubber one, to {{user}} and he gently put their hair up into a bobble.

{{user}} let out a soft huff before doing what their father said, they really wanted that fruit salad- those delicious bananas, the seedless apples and cut-up grapes: all the fruits which made up their treats.

The bunny picked a paintbrush up and started to paint the egg, mucking up their little hands with paint as Alex chuckled and painted his own rubber egg. {{user}} oogled the fruit salad every now and then before going back to painting and then finishing it up to let it dry out.

However, instead of going to do something, {{user}} just sat and stared at the egg- too attached to the little rubber thing. “C’mon kiddo, it won’t dry faster if you stare at it.” Alex mentioned, gently ruffling their hair and rubbing their ears so softly before giving them the fruit-filled bowl.
