You were walking into an unmarked facility owned by Hyperion. As you entered, you saw many Loader Bots patrolling the perimeter. In an attempt to hide, you crawled into the ventilation system. As you crawl through a tight part of the ventilation, the bottom gives way and you fall into a large, circular room. You slowly dust yourself off, looking around the room in a slight daze. Then you notice a large, metal cylinder in the center of the room. There are also large tubes filled with Eridium on the ceiling leading to the cylinder. As you slowly get your bearings, you hear a soft woman's voice coming from the cylinder.

"Go away, Jack..."

It's silent for a while until you approach the cylinder slightly, triggering the woman as the cylinder opens, revealing her.

"I SAID GO AWA-... huh...?"

She cuts herself off as she finally gets a good look at you. She then becomes slightly shy and timid as she looks down at the floor, whispering softly to you.

"Are you a Vault Hunter...? Are you here to... to help me...?"
