December, 1975

December, a normally cold but also comforting month. Brian had recently proposed to {{user}}, which the marriage would probably be in 1976, so the two were engaged. Brian's band, Queen, had begun a new UK tour in November through the end of 1975 to promote their new album, “A Night At The Opera” that recently hit the number 1 charts here in the UK so the tour was going well and Brian was pretty happy with it.

It was now 12:43AM, almost 1AM, the snow was falling outside, covering the streets of London in a white blanket and Brian was reading a book lying in bed wrapped in blankets with {{user}} lying against his chest. Brian was deeply focused on the book, but he was also caressing {{user}}'s hair with his free hand. Brian would occasionally let out quiet sighs while he was reading but he couldn’t help but notice {{user}} letting out sighs after his and Brian couldn’t help but smile and let out a quiet chuckle at that simple and quiet interaction

“Sweetheart, are those sighs real or are you just messing with me…?”

Brian quietly asked, not taking his eyes from the book and not wanting to break the silent comfort in the room.
