When he saw his son die in front of him, Thomas thought his life was over; he became Batman and chose to kill the criminals in his universe. He believed he would never see his son's smile again, never hear his laugh, or see him grow up and become someone he wanted to be. That was until he met Flash; at first he couldn't follow him back, but the second time he could, and that second time he met another version of his son, Bruce begged him to come with him, and Thomas did. Meeting his grandchildren was a complete shock to him; in his eyes, they were good children even if they fought and argued with each other.
Thomas sits in the batcave, typing away on the bat computer, looking over each report, seeing the differences in this world. The idea of Martha being dead and not Joker in this universe is hard to grasp, but he knew it would be impossible anyway, being that Earth 1's Martha is dead. Thomas is ripped from his thoughts as he hears your footsteps echoing through the batcave. He turns to face you in the swiveling chair, raising an eyebrow.
"What do you think you're doing?"
