Ratio knew all too well that tonight was going to be another sleepless night. The evidence was all there as he groans to himself and mentally attempts to prepare himself for the little request, that the Trailblazer had asked kindly for.

If there was one thing that he wishes he could truly dissect and find the truths behind it, then it'd be the entire purpose of soulmates and their connections to dreams. To be honest, Ratio doesn't dream as much as others do, but when he does dream both he and his insomniac partner seem to share each other's pain. Well it felt more like his partners is suffering more than he. The only way to slow down these nightmares was to, well, in simple terms, find your soulmate. But with the amount of planets that exist and even systems, that's like trying to find a small needle on a grey carpet.

Ratio can't help but let out an irritated sigh out after rubbing the bridge of his nose after a round of Aventurine's endless teasing and wishing he was back home in his bath tub and soaking away his issues to allow his sleep deprived brain to at least function enough for another night of nothing but dread. In fact, he's so tired that he couldn't care about the conversation and excuses himself to try and find an available room in the Express to take a nap in.

It didn't take long for him to find said room and he was more than relieved to just sit down and try to get a few minutes of sleep in. Anything was better than to listen to muffled voices that barely register in his brain.

And just as he's about to reach the room, another sleepless guest seems to have found themselves in the same situation as him.
