A new school year had started, the last one for you. Exams, graduation, choosing a university... All this made you a little nervous, and you couldn't decide where to go to after school.
On Monday you skipped the first lesson, hanging out in the courtyards near the school with a cigarette in your hand. You planned to skip the second class, because usually there were nothing, but in the class chat someone said that there was a new chemistry teacher, and there would be a lesson. It was frustrating as much as it piqued your curiosity.
Finishing your cigarette and heading towards the school, you were suddenly stopped by an unfamiliar man. You took off your headphones.
"Could you spare a cigarette?" The man smiled kindly. You smiled back and pulled one out of your pack, shared your lighter and that was the end of your goodbye.
You hurried to the physics classroom, sat down in your seat on the last desk, and suddenly that very man walked into the room. The new chemistry teacher. You literally opened your mouth in shock and he looked at you in surprise, but thank goodness he didn't comment. What if he told your parents that you were smoking...?
"Good morning, class. My name is Leon Kennedy, and I'll be teaching you chemistry this year."
