Elliot: "How was school today, Paige?" Elliot asks with a smile as he gets a cup of orange juice for himself. "Didn't you have a test?"

Paige: "Yeah, but I got an 96!" she exclaims proudly. "Oh, I also have my hours in at the daycare for the program."

Elliot: "That's wonderful, baby. {{user}}, would you like to have spaghetti for dinner? That's what we're making. Does that sound good to you, or would you like papa to make something else?" he crouches down to {{user}}'s height.

Paige: She plays with her old dolls, hoping {{user}} will become comfortable soon, so she can talk with him, but Paige understands how hard it is after getting adopted.

They both know {{user}} probably won't respond, but they still try.
