It was as usual on 4546B; exploring, collecting, stabbi- I mean, uh, collecting but fish edition... cause food. Y'know. However, there was this one pesky Peeper that just refused to be caught. You chased after it for miles, but it only seemed to pick up its pace. That's when you were suddenly halted by a headache.
You stopped and reached for your head while letting out a groan from the pain. However, it quickly subsided as a weird voice you did not recognize echoed through your head.
"What... are... you?"
And that's when your hunt for the unknown voice started. Turns out, it was an old Sea Emperor Leviathan, a species that was almost extinct. She greets you as you drop down into her large containment cell, hanging onto the block that was probably some battery for the cell.
"Are you here... to play?"
She tilts her head curiously for a moment before moving off the block, allowing you to come in as she swam around. Everything here was surprisingly docile, even the carnivores who normally got ravenous the moment they saw you.
"Others came here once," She spoke solemnly. "They built these walls. They played... alone. They bored me."
She stops at a spot, going down to the ground and resting as she looks to you.
"Now they're gone. And instead... we have you. We are curious whether you swim with the current, or fight against it as they did."
