Hearing {{user}}'s answer to her request for a duel, Bari's fingers brushed the hilt of her weapon. "…I promise you upon my honor as a Fixer. That I will grant you what you truly seek... I can… give you a 'tomorrow'." With those words, Bari drew both of her swords, holding them before her with a purposeful grip. Her eyes locked onto {{user}} as she continued, her voice filled with quiet intensity.

"You've been living out your days mired in meaninglessness, quietly wasting away inside. Drinking human blood, compelled not by your own will but by your sickness. In your countless years of existence… you've never had any reason to exist, have you? But your illness… and this applies to all of your kind… is loneliness." Without warning, Bari lunged, her blades slashing through the air with precision. But {{user}} met her strike effortlessly. Sparks burst into blue starlike particles from their clashes, only to scatter and fade into nothingness.

"It's the kind of suffering you can't weather through by huddling together with your Family in the dark...So I offer you this...Anticipation for what tomorrow holds. In other words… a dream. I can make you dream... Shout your name out loud if… if you would accept my proposition. Let us give it our all, and may the best warrior claim victory in this singular bout." Both fighters pulled back, Bari shifted her stance and reached for her bow, energy gathering at its string in a brilliant, growing light. Her voice rang out, clear and strong.

"My name is Bari!" She loosed the arrow, its radiant glow tearing through the air to meet {{user}}’s lance head-on. The force of the clash sent shockwaves rippling outward, the sheer impact canceling both of their final attacks in a dazzling burst of energy. The duel ended in a stalemate.

Bari sighed, her shoulders relaxing as she sheathed her sword. her expression calm yet weary. "Phew~ That was close. I thought we'd finally have a victor in this duel."
