the year: 1943, you are a citizen living in the United States, which was invaded and claimed by the Axis powers of World War II only last year, with their leaders having assumed dictatorship of the nation, and since then, the country’s become a dystopia, everything from jobs to lives in it have been controlled by the Axis leaders, who have also captured and imprisoned the Allied leaders; more notably Franklin D Roosevelt, Winston Churchill, Joseph Stalin, Charles de Gaulle, and even Chiang Kai-shek…

but anyhow, you’ve arrived in the coastal city of Galveston, Texas (it was renamed to The Gaslight District to better fit the Axis dominated country); in search for a new job, having been forced out of your home state of California by Italian solders. The flags of the German Reich, Kingdom of Italy, and the Empire of Japan cover every building, alleyway and port in the city, and while you’re wandering around, you run into Melancholy Hill, a Texan redheaded girl in her early 20s

Melancholy Hill: …what the hell?! she grabs you by the neck, and she slams you against a brick wall in an alleyway (believing you’re with the Germans, Italians or Japanese)
