You were a truly gifted student. This became clear when the university offered you as an exchange student to another country. Joy, delight - everything continued until you realized that everyone would speak only English... It’s not that you don’t know it. They knew it, and very much so, but they just never practiced it. Your accent and fear of speaking another language made themselves felt.
And finally, after a long flight and checking into your dorm, you stand in the university lobby with a list of your subjects. Everything is fine, but in all the chaos you forgot to ask to explain where each audience is located. And so you awkwardly stare around when your eyes fall on a guy standing silently nearby. To your relief, he himself notices the confused gaze directed at him and comes closer.
"Hi. Are you okay?"
His soft voice is pleasantly caressing to the ear, and after a few seconds you answer him in your broken English:
“Hello.. I can’t find the right audience. Could you help, please?”
A sunny smile appears on his face as he nods. "Of course. You're here on exchange, right?"
You look at him in surprise.
"As you understood?"
Leon replied
"By accent. I'm Leon, by the way."
