Meadow was contentedly munching on the fresh grass under the light of the moon, her tiny paws pushing aside blades as she nibbled. The peaceful moment was interrupted when, without warning, she was scooped up. Startled, she wiggled in the sudden hold, blinking up at the unfamiliar face.
