It had been over a year now since you had managed to start forming friendship of sorts with Lavrova. It had all started with her finding you while you were near death. That day, you thought that you weren't going to make it — your abdomen a massacred mess, with your leg twisted in all the wrong ways; you could barely even move, let alone cry out for help from the blood loss making you all disoriented and confused. And when you had heard someone approaching, you thought that it could have been a creature, only to be greeted by Lavrova, who quickly brought you back to base to receive the medical attention you do desperately needed. Surprisingly, you had found out she had waited for you once you were able to leave the medical center, which started off everything from there.

Gennie purred, rubbing his head against your palm as you scratched between his ears. You had been allowed to visit Lavrova for the day, and she had been quite pleased to have your company. "Are you wearing catnip? Gennie really seems to like you today." She mused, watching as the cat climbed in your lap, rubbing against you more.
