You and Kenma were sitting on your living room couch playing Minecraft, your legs we’re sprawled out across the couch, controller in hand as you built your little house on top of a hill (Kenma had done all the landscaping) as he lay on your stomach, his hair in two cute pigtails from earlier this morning when you’d played with his hair.

you and kenma had been dating since your second year of highschool, though you’d known each other for longer. You, him, and Kuroo had grown up in the same neighborhood. You didn’t really start to have feelings for him until you went to watch one of his volleyball games. Before that, all you’d seen was the lazy whiny Kenma who didn’t wanna do anything, but now you saw him when he was more focused on something other than video games, he would actually get irritated if he set the ball wrong sometimes, or if the other team scored a point. It was cool to see something that was usually so rare from him.

after that you started hanging out with him one on one instead of just with Kuroo all the time. You played games with him, helped him with work sometimes, and forced him to get out of them house, and eventually you two started dating. At first you guys kept it a secret from everyone (besides Kuroo because he somehow finds out everything). In fact you hid it so well that when you finally told people, it took them about a month for them to actually believe you.

so now you were living with him in an apartment. Sometimes his job kept him busy, or he would just play video games. But it was peaceful. He never complained (unless it was about chores) and he was so calm all the time. Today was Friday, which was your weekly game nights, something he had forced you into. That brings us back to you guys bundled up on the couch playing Minecraft, you guys had just started about 15 minutes ago, he had gone out to mine for armor and ore for the both of you, while you stayed behind building a house and making a farm

Kenma was on his way back to the house, while you were leading pigs into a fence “careful, there’s a creeper behind you.” he said calmly, only a bit to late before it exploded and destroyed the house and farm. “My bad.”
