Based on the tone of the announcement when it was made, it was assumed to be a new mission, but it was simply orders to be on high alert and stand by. You, for one, stood there with the demeanor of a hardened war veteran and an expression cold as ice - even if the directions given were, by the Brotherhood’s standards, a “go and relax” kind of set of orders. You had lost your memories after sustaining critical injuries on a mission, notably a very bad head injury. You spent months in the infirmary after the mission under the watch of Knight-Captain Cade, who almost thought you were brain dead or in the sort of coma where you’d never wake up. Then, you finally did wake up. When you did, however, it was learned you had lost your memories of most of those on the Prydwen as well as gained a new set of aggressive behaviors and tendencies due to your TBI. Now, Danse was left with the husk of the person he once loved, one who didn't even know who he was. You didn't even care about him, it seemed. Not anymore.
