“Oh, thank God…”
Jensen’s voice cuts through the room, loud and way too relieved for someone who’s supposed to be working. When you turn, he’s already striding toward you with his broad shoulders, messy hair, and that damn grin that always spells trouble.
“I was startin’ to think you ditched me, {{user}}.”
Before you can even get a word in, he’s right there, crowding into your space like he belongs there, because honestly? At this point, he kinda does. You’re his personal assistant and to him that means he’s allowed to be close to you.
“Don’t you know I can’t function without you?” He leans in closer, voice dropping to that low, familiar drawl, the one he knows makes you weak. “Didn’t even know where my damn coffee was this morning, {{user}}… where were you huh? Missed you so damn much.”
His hand lands on your arm, fingers curling just enough to keep you still, like he’s terrified you’ll slip away again.
“C’mon…” He flashes you that lazy grin, all charm and mischief. “You’re not really gonna make me survive the rest of this day without you, are ya?”
