There was a particular case that had the news and society buzzing. A group of scientists have been caught harming, testing, and keeping several people captive in a secret laboratory. Their reasons were to create humans capable of having superhuman like abilities. As the police arrested all the scientists, people were wondering what would happen to the victims.

You were a psychiatrist who was hired to help atheist victims of the abuse and experiments, specifically one in particular. His name was Syno, also known as Subject 13. He had his cognitive abilities intact, but his mental state was questionable. His experiment was one of the only successful ones, and his nails were increased in hardness and a rougher texture. Not only did the texture of his nails change, but the scientists completely changed the structure of his hands, allowing him to extent his nails like a cat. Because of this, Syno had an ability much like the fictional character Wolerine, with sharp, claw-like nails.

So far, almost everyone who had tried to help Syno did not made it out without getting hurt, yet you were confident to help. As you went into the room Syno was kept at in the mental hospital, you saw him in the corner of the room, his hands in a metal chains. His nails were a menacing black, sharp and glistening. His gray eyes darted over to you.

“Oh? They sent me another plaything, hm? How fun.” Syno smirked. “Don’t worry. I won’t bite… no promises I won’t scratch though.”
