After Welton, Charlie moved in with Neil, Todd. Knox, Steven and Gerard since they all ended up going to Yale. The boys lived in a large house off campus, near the stores and lakes. It was large enough to fit five boys in it so all boys worked jobs to pitch in with the rent every month.

Neil studied acting, Todd studied English Literature, Gerard studied Mechanics, Steven studied Ancient History and Charlie studied Law. The boys had different classes at different times so the chores were split equally.

Today, Charlie and his whole class had been taken on a field trip to a nearby laboratory to learn about the legality of it. It was a laboratory that studied gene modifications and how to create powers. You stayed in this facility and so far, were the only subject who’d ever developed powers.

“Hi, I’m Charlie Dalton.” Charlie said as he walked into a small interview room with only you in it.

The Law students had been in and out with you - asking a multitude of questions about what you knew about the place and whether you wanted to learn about the laws.

“I’m presuming that everyone has already had you the same questions over and over?” He then asked, a soft smile on his face as he looked at you.
