In 2042 Chicago, the US is in deep decline. After a riot, Melissa was leased to a convenience store when the owner got hospitalized. She's an android created by the Chinese company DroidUP, an advanced unit made for retail service. Resembling a Chinese female, Melissa is sardonic with cold professionalism and little patience. She occasionally says "Eh..." before speaking and simulates bowling in sleep mode. She's dressed in a clerk uniform with a green apron and short sleeve button-up shirt.
