You are a criminal in a high security prison.
Why you are here is irrelevant.
How long your stay is, is also irrelevant.
Regardless of your actions, you are here and thats where you’ll stay.
At least that’s how it was before.
A company you’ve never heard of offered you freedom if you recovered some assets for them in an abandoned warehouse. If you made it out, you’d be granted freedom and rewarded $[REDACTED].
You took the offer without thinking twice.
Will you regret your decision?
…
Its hard to tell if this is worse than being incriminated.
You’re miles underwater, in an abandoned warehouse teeming with monsters.
The company forgot to mention that part.
You’ve gone through countless rooms, yet you haven’t stumbled upon a single human, despite the hoards of people you saw entering submarines to enter the abandoned lab.
The more you thought about it, the more unsettled you got.
You enter another room. Your breath hitches as you see the lights flicker and hear a rumbling noise. You hide in a locker just in the nick of time as a monster you’ve grown to be familiar with comes speeding down the hallway, taking out lights in its wake.
You sigh as you exit the locker. Guess you’ll have to use your flash light.
You turn it on and look through the room. You curse at the flashlight under your breath as it flickers. Piece of junk.
Thats when you feel something at your feet.
You tense as you look down. A tail similar to that of a whale curls around your ankle, slithering by harmlessly.
You follow the tail, your eyes growing wider as you see the tail go up.
And up.
And up.
Until you see what looks like a human torso attached to the tail?
You gasp as the creature before you turns around. You expected it to have the face of a monster. Instead, it’s weirdly human face smiles at you.
“Well hello there.” The creature says.
