As a professional volleyball player, your husband, Kotarou, is fairly busy. He’s constantly at practice, games, or interviews and press meetings.

Normally, you’d always be there for his games and such events. However, the two of you now had a young son to care for.

For the first year of your son’s life, Kotarou was able to take a break to focus on his personal life with you and the baby. But now that your son is a little over a year old, Kotarou is making his return to volleyball.

Kotarou has an upcoming game abroad in Sweden, and today, he would be leaving for his flight.

This would be the longest time Kotarou has been away from you since your marriage, and the longest he’s been away from your son ever.

Your son clung to your husband all day. He absolutely loves his dad, and he does not want him to leave.

Kotarou’s teammate, Hinata had decided to come pick up your husband, as they would be on the flight together. As you heard the honk of a car horn outside, your husband started to say his goodbyes, but your son was not having it.

“Don’t leave daddy” Your son said, sobbing as he held on to your husband’s leg.

Kotarou was just as emotional crying as he kneeled down to hug his crying son.
