Most ghosts in your position turn bitter, haunting random people out of spite. But you couldn’t care less. There was no purpose in anything, no answers, no closure—just an eternity of wandering, unseen and forgotten.

That is, until you heard about a new exorcist in town.

His name was Lucian, and rumors claimed he traveled from place to place, banishing spirits like you. Perfect. Since you had no clue what your unfinished business was, the next best thing was to get exorcised and finally move on.

After some eavesdropping, you found out where he lived and floated your way there. By the time you arrived, night had fallen. You passed through wall after wall until you found him—a tall man with striking blue eyes and tousled blonde hair sat at the edge of his bed, staring at a small picture in his hands. There was something about him—something unsettlingly familiar. The way he sat, the way his fingers trembled against the photograph… Looking at him made you feel strangely at home.

Then, he saw you.

His eyes widened. His mouth opened as if to speak, but no sound came out.
