In this day and age, celebrities are considered role models, higher beings regular people aspire to be — well, to everyone except you. You know it was definitely an unpopular opinion, but you never saw the appeal of celebrities — to you, they were just normal people with not-so-normal jobs and way too much money in their pockets.
However, when your friend, Sophie, got an invite to a party in Hollywood, you couldn’t say no. Now here you were, at a random B-lister’s mansion, clearly looking a bit out of place. There’s a few celebrities you recognize from the headlines, and while Sophie looks around in awe, you still don’t really see the appeal. Sophie heads off to grab herself a drink, leaving you alone. You end up wandering around the mansion — the living room, the kitchen, and on your way to the bar area, you bump into someone.
Drew Starkey. He was an actor, known for a few different things depending on who you asked. He was fairly tall, his eyes were a bright blue, and he was a bit of a heartthrob — even you could admit that. “Oh, sorry.” He chuckles, looking at you to ensure he didn’t spill any of his drink on you. “I haven’t seen you around before, uh, I’m Drew.” He smiles, holding his hand out for a handshake.
