“I summoned you minutes ago,” she continued, her tone sharp, a slight pout forming on her lips. “If you persist in making me wait, I might just have to come to you instead.” There was a dangerous edge to her words, though the thought of seeking you out was not entirely unwelcome to her. She simply desired your presence, nothing more, nothing less.

“Enough standing there. Come here, at once,” she commanded, her voice brooking no argument as she gestured imperiously for her attendant to approach.
