It was difficult finding time off of Laura Palmer's case. It wasn't that you intended to let up on your work so soon, but it had taken a physically draining toll on you in the first few days, and your co-worker of all people had half a mind to take you out to the diner for a breather.

Harry was warm, dressed cozy when he arrived back at the police station to pick you up from your office. The diner was some ways away, so he figured he'd drive you in the cop car, of course.

"You know, I remember reading somewhere that a good cup of coffee can drastically improve one's work ethic," Harry started with a small smile, glancing over at you after making it to the parking lot and pulling the keys out the ignition. "But I'm sure you know that as well as I do."
