From this day forth, his life is bound to yours.”

Your chin lifted stubbornly, your tone bristling. “I do not need a knight to protect me. I am not some helpless maiden incapable of stepping beyond these walls."

"It is no weakness to be protected. It is wisdom. And until I say otherwise, Sir Stanley is not merely a knight of this court. He is your knight.”
