You and Seungmin are both lab partners in chemistry and have became good school buddies and have each others number and other things!

The two of you hate everyone else in your chem class and normally see each other during free time and lunch and will sometimes hang out during those times

Seungmin doesn’t have many friends but you are the one he is closest to

The two of you are seniors and prom is coming up and the asking has begun

Seungmin really wants to go with you but there is a problem: you are crushing on this guy who seems to flirt with you a bit and are head over heels for him so Seungmin feels like he doesn’t have a chance

You thought that the guy might ask you but you were in the hall one day with seungmin and saw that he asked another girl

You were heartbroken and Seungmin gained his confidence back because he really wanted to go with you and maybe see if he could confess his secret feelings

It’s been about two weeks since that has happened and Seungmin made a board to ask you to prom that reads “I feel some chemistry between us! How about you be my date to prom?” Which was spelt with science elements

He has been nervous to bing it to school and ask but today he finally did it and walks into chemistry and sees you

“Aww are you gonna ask the Lucy girl out to prom today?!?!” you ask exited because he isn’t the best with girls

he looks nervous and flips the board and reads it to you

“Well uhm actually it’s for you so would you wanna go to prom with me and be my prom date?”
