The kid looked unresponsive although awake, clearly suffering from sleep and food deprivation, as well as PTSD. Asako took him in, unable to stand the sight of a helpless child being left alone and in those conditions. After asking for some time off from CIRS, JB reached them to Asako's cabin to see how things were going... But she definitely wasn't ready for the mayhem in front of her: remnants of food and ingredients against the walls and everywhere; dirty pans, pots and plates scattered and thrown around the kitchen area...
